What is Uber Greenlight Hub for? ›

Uber Greenlight Hubs are in-person support centers that connect Uber drivers to dedicated one-on-ones with company experts. These locations tend to be fairly large, with a handful of staff members prepared to help you with anything from new driver onboarding to demos of Uber Driver app features.

Greenlight Hubs are closed until further notice

To protect the community, as well as the Uber customer support experts who help them every day, we are temporarily closing all Greenlight Hubs in the US and Canada until further notice.

Come to our Greenlight Hub to get support by our trained Experts. Please bring your passport, driving licence, bank statement, national insurance number and a Utility bill (no older than 3 months). These will be used to submit your background check.

In-person support

To check availability, go to Help in your Driver app, then Book an in person appointment, choose the issue you need help with, and tap Schedule an appointment if you want more help.

Instead of driving a vehicle fueled by gas, you'll be transporting customers in an electric car. There are no additional apps for this transportation; Uber Green is an option available on the current Uber app and uses the same services—the only difference is the vehicle you're driving.

Drivers may choose to install and use a dashcam, which can be used to record rides and provide evidence to Uber, law enforcement, or insurance companies in the event that something goes wrong on a ride.

⁷Cancellation fees for Uber Reserve are higher than with on-demand. You can cancel at no charge up to 60 minutes before your reservation pickup time. If you cancel less than 60 minutes before your reservation, you'll be charged the cancellation fee below for your driver's time.
